Our Tempe Learning Center is a tuition–free public charter school serving students in Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and nearby communities. Located at 1833 N. Scottsdale Road, our campus offers an accessible, calm learning environment designed for students seeking a different, more supportive approach to high school.

Meet Principal Amy Palatucci of SCHS Tempe Learning Center
The Tempe Learning Center is led by Principal Amy Palatucci, an experienced educator with a strong background in both instruction and school leadership. Her career began in special education, where she developed a deep appreciation for individualized learning and student advocacy.
Over the years, Principal Palatucci has served as a special education teacher, department chair, assistant principal, high school principal, and special education administrator. She joined the Tempe campus in 2025 and brings a thoughtful approach that combines traditional expectations with innovative alternative education practices. Her leadership focuses on helping students feel known, supported, and motivated as they work toward their diploma.
