Hello SCHS!
My name is Samuel, and I attend the Glendale Learning Center.
What really inspired me was seeing the opportunity I had when I enrolled here. They were willing to work with me and give me an education, and it was truly awesome that they are always there to help and guide me.
The teachers at SCHS support my academic growth really well, actually. They’ve done so much, specifically by congratulating my accomplishments and making sure the resources and education fit my knowledge level. It has been amazing.
My hobbies are that sometimes I play video games, hang out with my work crew, and go out for a team night to have fun! I actually work for a nonprofit charity!
I was talking with Ms. Cortes about getting into a welding program—something that I can do alongside my job right now. But looking for a scholarship for college is my secondary plan.
SCHS has been amazing and helped me figure out my future!
