Meet Principal Flood

Principal Flood

Sandra Flood is the proud principal of Student Choice High School in the Peoria location. Sandra has been in education for twenty-one years. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership with an emphasis on the principalship from Northern Arizona University. She received her bachelors in elementary education at Arizona State University, and she is a certified principal by the Arizona Department of Education. Over the course of her career, Sandra has been a classroom teacher, student advisor, and assistant principal. For the last seven years before joining the SCHS team, Sandra was a principal at a school that included preschool through fifth grade. Sandra has participated in many trainings over the years. These include Kagan Cooperative Learning, Standards Mapping, Professional Learning Communities, Conscious Discipline, Building Trauma Sensitive Classrooms, and Using Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS). 

She is excited to have joined a team of educators committed to doing what is best for students and helping them reach their goals. Sandra enjoys continuing her education and learning to improve systems and schools for her students.
