22+ Adult Diploma Program
Welcome to Student Choice High School’s Accredited Adult High School Diploma Program. We know the decision to enroll was not made lightly, and we are here to support you every step of the way!
Our free, Adult High School Diploma Program is designed for adults, residents of Arizona, ages 22 and older, who would like to earn their high school diploma. There is no maximum age limit for this program.
We take a personalized approach to this journey. We will know you, support you and celebrate your success!
Requirements
The state of Arizona requires students to complete 22 credits to earn a high school diploma. This requirement applies to all students, regardless of their age, or when they first enrolled in high school. After registering at Student Choice, we analyze your transcripts from other schools and advise you of the number of credits you still need to graduate, and if you need to meet any additional graduation requirements based on when you first enrolled in 9th grade. We will accept any high school credit earned from an accredited high school, whether it resulted in a letter grade or a “pass” (P) on the transcript. Once enrolled, we can grant needed elective credit for documented volunteerism and/or paid work experience.
Support
You will be learning with an online curriculum. You can access your courses 24/7 365 days a year. We have certified teachers ready and eager to support you in finishing your courses. They are just a text, call, email, or video conference call away. You may work on your courses at your own pace to fit into your schedule. There are no minimum daily, weekly, or monthly requirements, but the more time you put in, the quicker you will earn your diploma.
As a Student Choice High School Student, we provide mentorship. We will be checking in with you often to see how your journey is going and to provide guidance with any concurrent certifications and training, post-graduation planning, support with community resources, as needed, and anything else to support you in reaching your goals. - OSHA Certified - 10-hour online, construction safety certification: Through the Department of Labor Approved list
- Red Cross Advanced Child Care Online Training
- AZ Food Handlers Card/Certification
- AZ Alcohol Server and Food Handlers Card/Certification
- Guest Service Gold: Tourism Industry Certification
- Skills, Tasks, and Results Training (START) for Individual Hospitality/Tourism Positions

Graduation
Once you have finished your last course and completed the graduation requirements, you are a high school graduate!
Student Choice High School will provide you with an official diploma, and there is an optional, formal, traditional graduation ceremony each June to celebrate your amazing accomplishment.
Once you have graduated from high school, we want your education at Student Choice to continue to benefit you in other parts of your life, including your chosen career and any postsecondary education plans you have. Student Choice educators and administrators have career and academic experience in many fields. We can advise you on career planning, apprenticeships, military service, certificates, financial aid applications, and college degrees from the associate level up to a doctorate. No matter what you are interested in accomplishing in life, we will help you figure out how to get there before, during, and after earning your high school diploma.
Enrollment Qualifications and Process
Student Choice wants adults to meet their educational goals regardless of age. If you are 22 or older, you can enroll in our Adult Diploma Program. There is no maximum age, and the process is simple!
To start the enrollment process, gather a photo of your Arizona driver’s license or Arizona state ID and a photo of your transcript if you have previously earned credits. Additionally, if you have passed portions of the GED, please provide a photo of that record.
If you need a transcript, simply contact the main number of the last school you attended and request an official transcript. They will have it on record, regardless of how long it has been since you attended.
Our enrollment process is entirely online. Once you have a photo of your Arizona license or ID and your past transcript(s), click "22+ Adult Diploma Program" in the upper right portion of this page to complete the enrollment form and attach all required documentation. Once we receive all the necessary information, we can get you started with your classes on the day of your choosing. We accept and start adult students for enrollment 365 days a year.
